A small tutoring center with a big focus on one student at a time.
Founder Dana Whitfield taught middle-school math for eleven years. She kept seeing the same thing: capable students falling behind because one concept never clicked, and no one had the time to go back and fix it.
She started tutoring after school in a borrowed classroom. Word spread. By the second year she had hired two more teachers, and 123 Tutoring was born.
We’ve now worked with more than 1,200 students, in person and online.
Students who believe they can learn, do. Every plan starts by finding something the student is already good at.
Most of our team are current or former classroom teachers who know the state standards and the local curriculum.
